“Tammy Vaughn is a friend and a wonderful mentor of the Angoras and their fiber. Tammy accomplished getting the Giant Angora Chestnut Agouti variety recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA), which if any of you are familiar with this process, it can be very time consuming, costly, and one must have LOTS of patience and genetic knowledge to get this accomplished. Tammy completed this in the minimum presentations required by ARBA, which is quite an accomplishment.

Tammy is also a great source to ask about the care, breeding and grooming of Angoras. Don’t be afraid

or shy to ask her you will find her to be a valuable resource.

As for showing and competing with Angoras, you will find Tammy promotes comradery to assist others to improve their stock as well as ‘tips’ for showing the Angoras. You will find some breeders who don’t want to share tips about the Angoras or showing but Tammy is far from that person.

If you haven’t met Tammy yet, and happen to be at a rabbit show or fiber gathering, please be sure to go up and introduce yourself to her you will NOT be sorry you did.”

Giant Angora Lover

“I met Tammy at the National Angora Show a couple of years ago. I went to learn about angora rabbits, but specifically to see if I could meet her and see her Giant Angoras!

Tammy was extremely helpful, kind, and took the time to answer my many questions. I went home with two of her Giant Angoras.

Tammy continues to amaze me with her willingness to share her years of knowledge and experience. She truly is passionate about Giant Angoras and has spent years developing the Chestnut Giants.

Her creativity and energy focused on this breed and the people she has helped be successful is above and beyond! I’m so glad she’s put together this coaching program! It will put so much of that knowledge and experience into a sequential package that will be an indispensable resource for every Giant Angora owner!”
