This is Why I Hate Plucking
When the timing is off, the rabbit decides the plan, and you learn to roll with it. I had full intentions of finishing Mr Love Shack with a nice, clean shearing. Quick session. Get it done. Move on. Well… life had other plans. Between meetings, schedule shifts, and everything else going on, I didn’t get back to him as soon as I should have. By the time I did, he was already molting. And once you’re there, you don’t get to choose anymore. You go with what the rabbit gives you.

There are weekends that remind you why you started. This was one of those.
I came home tired, a little behind on a few things, and still smiling. That’s always a good sign. The show itself was just plain fun. I got to talk with so many people, share ideas, laugh a little, and watch some really nice Angoras hit the table. The judges are noticing. Not just one or two animals.
