We're Tim and Becky Hammond, owners of White Fireweed Farm. We were married in 1995 in Fairbanks, Alaska and moved to our current property in 2000. When we walked the land we found rare white fireweed growing here so the farm name was decided. Portions of the acreage were cleared and planted to brome hay at the time, but beyond that we started from scratch. We quickly threw up a cabin, got power and fuel oil connected, then winter was here. From there we gradually grew into the farm we have today. 

Becky is the livestock manager and all around boss on the farm.

Our rabbitry is dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the Giant Angora, a breed we have proudly worked with for more than twenty years. We focus on producing correct, competitive Giant Angoras with exceptional wool quality, working primarily with Whites, Chestnuts, and Colored Giant Angoras on a selective basis. Every rabbit in our program reflects thoughtful pairing, proven genetics, and a deep commitment to maintaining the integrity and hallmark traits of the breed. Whether destined for the show table or the fiber arts community, our Giant Angoras are bred for correct type, dense workable wool, and the classic features that define this remarkable breed.

Giant Angoras- primarily REW and Chestnut with some black and opal at times. 

I work with REW and Chestnut. I am a fiber artist so fiber production and low maintenance coats are my priority. However, I also breed for good conformation and occasionally go to shows.

I breed Giants, Germans and some hybrids of the two.  My goals are conformation, fiber production and easy temperaments. All kits are handled from birth, and training and follow-up information are included when you purchase a rabbit from me.  I work with all colors.

Our small rabbitry is nestled at the very edge of the Appalachian mountains in Erwin Tn.  I have been raising angora rabbits for 5 years. I started showing in 2023 after helping Tammy that year by fostering 2 of her Chestnuts during the final phase of her COD.  One of them (a buck named Hansome) ended up being part of the show string for the COD.  Ever since then I have been working toward improving my herds body type and texture.  Right now I have REWs, Chestnuts, Black, Black GTS & a 3 week old Blue GTS. I am planning on adding the Chocolate Agouti sometime this year so I can start helping Tammy and her team get them approved in 2028. 

My name is Hope Musselwhite and I run Birds of Hope farm and fiber. I raise chickens, ducks, and geese; however, my main focus has become my rabbitry. I raise jersey woolies but truly specialize in Giant Angoras and their fiber and spun yarn. Located in Ferndale Washington.
