59 days and counting to bring this first-edition Angora
playing card deck to life.
It’s official. The Angora Royalty Card Kickstarter has begun!
After so much dreaming, planning, designing, revising, rethinking, laughing, and probably a little muttering under my breath, this fuzzy little project is finally ready to step out into the world.
We now have 59 days and counting to bring the Angora Royalty Deck to life.
Because this is Kickstarter, it is all or nothing.
That means if the campaign reaches its funding goal, the first print run moves forward. If it does not reach the goal, backers are not charged, and the first edition will not be printed through this campaign.
So yes, I am excited.
And yes, I am probably going to be a little nervous for the next 59 days.
What is the Angora Royalty Deck?
The Angora Royalty Deck is a collectible first-edition playing card deck celebrating the beauty, personality, and charm of Angora rabbits.
Each suit highlights one of the four Angora breeds:
Hearts: English Angoras, Tort
Spades: French Angoras, Fawn
Diamonds: Satin Angoras, BEW
Clubs: Giant Angoras, Chestnut
The artwork is whimsical, royal, fluffy, and full of Angora charm. The deck includes rabbit-themed details, fiber arts touches, yarn, spinning, knitting, and all the cozy little things that make the Angora world so special.
This is not meant to be just another deck of cards.
This is a small-batch, first-edition art deck created for rabbit lovers, fiber artists, breeders, collectors, and anyone who understands the magic of Angoras.
Why Kickstarter?
This project is being launched on Kickstarter because producing a physical deck takes real upfront costs.
The funding goal helps cover the first professional print run, handmade and DIY packaging, shipping supplies, Kickstarter fees, payment processing fees, and reward fulfillment.
I am frontloading a tremendous amount of time, artwork direction, planning, resources, and heart into this project. The Kickstarter helps make sure the production side is covered before the first edition moves forward.
That keeps the project realistic, responsible, and doable.
And that matters, because this is a grassroots project. It is not being run by a big company or warehouse. It is being created and fulfilled by me, Tammy, one fuzzy little package at a time.
Why this deck matters
Of course, the deck is meant to be fun and beautiful.
But it also has a deeper purpose.
The Angora Royalty Deck helps celebrate all four Angora breeds while bringing more visibility to Angoras, fiber arts, and the people who love them.
Any profit from this project will support Fuzzy Vaughn’s Farm and the colored Giant Angora COD work, with Chocolate Agouti as the next major focus.
That makes this project extra special to me.
It combines rabbits, art, fiber, community, and breed development in one magical little deck.

For a few special donors, they will receive a t-shirt with the
card of their choice as the featured design.
This is a limited first edition
This first edition is intentionally small and practical.
The goal is to produce the first run of 100 decks. That keeps the project manageable and helps make sure it can actually be printed, packed, and delivered without getting overcomplicated.
Because this is a Kickstarter first edition, backers will be first in line.
The plan is to order enough limited decks to cover Kickstarter rewards, plus a small number for post-campaign fulfillment. That means this first-edition version may not be available later in the same way.
Prices may also increase after the Kickstarter campaign ends, so backing early is the best way to get your deck at the launch price.
The artwork is still growing
Some of the card graphics are still in development, and I will be sharing progress along the way.
The final printed deck may differ slightly as the artwork is polished and prepared for print. That is part of this first-edition journey.
One of a kind book marks as a special add on reward for those special donors!
Backers will get to follow along as the deck comes to life, from artwork updates to packaging progress to final print preparation.
I will also have a couple of draft prototypes at Nationals so folks can see the direction in person.
How you can help
The best way to support the project is to back the Kickstarter and pre-purchase your deck.
You can choose a simple support level, order one deck, grab two decks so you have one to play with and one to save, or choose one of the sponsor levels for extra recognition.
Sharing also helps tremendously.
Send the Kickstarter to your rabbit friends, fiber friends, card-playing friends, club members, and anyone who loves collectible art projects.
Every pledge, every share, and every bit of encouragement helps.
59 days and counting
This is the part where I take a deep breath and say…
Here we go.
59 days and counting.
All or nothing.
Help me make a dream come true, and you get something magical too.
P.S. Thank you for cheering this project on. Whether you back it, share it, or simply tell me “Tammy, this is adorable,” it all means more than you know. This fuzzy little dream is officially live.
