10 Week Old Angora Babies: Evaluating Ravishing and Cheerful’s Stunning Litter

There is something incredibly special about the 10-week mark in young Angora rabbits. It’s that moment where everything starts to come together. Personalities begin to shine, coats start telling their story, and you get your first real glimpse into what these little fluffballs might become.

Today was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

I spent time with Miss Ravishing and Mr. Cheerful’s babies, and I have to say… they are looking fantastic. Each one is developing in their own unique way, and it’s always such a joy to slow down and really look at them individually.

At 10 weeks, I’m not just looking at how cute they are—although trust me, that part never gets old. I’m watching their structure, their movement, their coat quality, and how everything is coming together. This stage gives early clues, not final answers, but enough to start dreaming a little about their future.

And let’s be honest… this might just be my favorite part of the day. Sitting with baby bunnies, watching them explore, seeing their little personalities pop out—it never gets old.

Miss Ravishing, on the other hand, is very clearly ready for the next stage. She has done an amazing job raising this litter, but like many good moms, she’s letting me know it’s time for these babies to move out and start their own journey. And honestly, I don’t blame her one bit.

These babies are a beautiful reminder of what thoughtful breeding and proper care can produce. And as they continue to grow, I can’t wait to see which direction each one takes.

Angoras require preparation, knowledge, and commitment.

Now I do want to take a moment to share something important.

Springtime is one of the most tempting times to bring home a rabbit. The weather is changing, baby animals are everywhere, and it’s easy to fall in love quickly. But rabbits, especially Angoras, are not impulse animals.

Before bringing one home, make sure you have your setup ready, understand their grooming needs, and ideally have a mentor or support system in place. Planning ahead makes all the difference, not just for you, but for the rabbit as well.

NARBC is a wonderful place for New Angora Owners

If you are new to Angoras, or even just thinking about getting started, the NARBC is a wonderful place to begin.

One of the things I appreciate most is the mentorship available within the group. There is a private Mentor group filled with breeders and fiber enthusiasts who have a tremendous amount of experience. These are people who have put in the years, learned the lessons, and are genuinely willing to share their knowledge.

And something that really stands out… there is zero spam. It is a focused, supportive space where you can ask questions, learn, and grow.

Having access to that kind of guidance can make all the difference, especially when you are navigating the world of Angoras for the first time.

If you are serious about learning, improving, and doing right by your rabbits, this is a community that can truly support you along the way.

If you’d like to see these little ones in action and follow along with their journey, be sure to watch the full video and come join me during my live sessions.

There is always something happening in the rabbitry, and I love sharing it with you.

And yes, I am adding a small tube of Neosporin, antibiotic ointment to my grooming kit.  For me and the bunnies... you just never know, LOL.

Stay Fluffy My Friends,

Tammy,
